These trolleys have allowed me to tow my latest MB E350 around the garage with 245/45R17 tires and 17" wheels. Plate thickness 1/4 inch. It was strong enough to hold a 5,500 pound car with no problem. The 10.5 inch wide tires did not protrude beyond the bogie. The wheels of the bogie were free to rotate before the car's weight was transferred to the bogie. The car was much easier to move when all the wheels of the cart were turned in the direction of travel. I would have preferred larger diameter wheels because twice as many wheels got caught in the smallest ash in the driveway and the car tire exploded out of the chute onto the cart's edge before I stopped. A car tire came off the cart, broke at the rear of the cart, and crashed into the car's body, causing damage. When towing the vehicle, keep an eye on the wheel on the dolly unless the ground is very slippery. I swept the driveway, which cleared the traffic. The next obstacle was raising the garage's cement floor 1/8 to 1/4 inch from the driveway. The front carts could not overcome it. I had to make thin hardwood ramps and then tow the car. My ramp creations were destroyed but the car was in the garage. If all the carts are on the level floor of the garage, I can push the car myself.
