PROBLEM.!. I installed the ring around the ignition and next time I use it. My truck started right away and started behaving! It would not start and when the key was partially turned it gave a red message about starting system failure. Upon later investigation we found that this ring was interfering with some form of magnetic/computer communication. This resulted in the truck not starting, but the key could be partially turned. This in turn triggered multiple error message displays on the dashboard. After removing the ring we disconnected/reconnected the battery and then restarted the truck which did a system reset. Since then everything is fine. I ended up using the rings elsewhere but not on or near the ignition. Since then everything is fine. I came back to lower my rating. I am not satisfied with this product. It's cheap and not worth buying. The gems are coming off and the clips won't stay on my visors. Overall I give it a thumbs down. The only thing that isn't broken or not working yet is the phone holder.
