I bought a large size for an English budgie (it's about 50% bigger than a regular parrot from a pet shop). I've tried various closed feeders with no mess and have to say this is my favorite and my bird's favorite too. It doesn't include all the shells, but the main thing I wanted was a way to load a lot of food and keep the shell separate from the fresh seeds so the food doesn't mix with the fresh seeds. Corps. It does a fantastic job. I love that my bird can easily bite the back and it has a nice smooth finish (another model of feeder with a similar design had a screw in the part he was always scratching his head). The storage tray for the suitcase is good. It is slightly flared on the sides. I put mine in a cage because he likes to eat high up and the feeds in his cage are downstairs. One design change I would recommend is making the little lugs that hold it to the bars a little longer. I had no problem knocking it over, but I was apprehensive about it at first (no problem so far). The large size had a divider for the feeder so I can even put two different brands of seeds on each side and he can decide what he wants to eat that day which side of the trough he digs the seeds from. It is very easy to take out and put back in. I have had other types of feeders that fitted the hull a little better but were difficult to empty and clean.
