This product is incredibly easy to install and use! We bought this pump to replace a pump that stopped working on one side for our 12 year old Select Comfort bed. For the beginning. The only real assembly work you need to do is remove the two bolts from the stock SC pump, remove the cap, and then disconnect the air hoses. DO NOT disconnect the hoses from the bed itself. The new pump comes with a very easy to use screw for the quick disconnects on the end of the air chamber hose. While you'd have to disassemble the original factory pump to disconnect the hoses, with a new pump it's as easy as two quick disconnects. All of this has been said. Once the hose was connected and two AAA batteries installed in the remote (NOT TWO CORDES anymore for strangling yourself in bed!), it would light up and instantly check the air pressure in each Badger.
