Fits our John Deere la100 mower with Vanguard 17hp single cylinder engine. It has metal teeth so I expect it to last a long time. Brought a screaming old woman to life. If you think your battery is dying and you are having very long slow starts, but know the battery is probably fine, it's probably the starter motor.
