Don't tear off the label!
This is perfect for a 1 gallon tank. This is great for juvenile fish as they cannot get stuck in it. Many other mini heaters have holes that can be dangerous for small fish. I believe the temperature is accurate for the most part. Especially since I leave the light on in the tank and the filter generates heat. My Molly Fry have no problems with the displayed temperature.
