Review on Premium W10300924 Dishwasher Door Gasket Replacement for Whirlpool Kenmore - Long-lasting seal, Compatible with W10300924V, W11177741, PS12348515，W10660528 by Omar Austin

This was to replace a Whirlpool Gasket part number W11177741 to replace the gasket on my WDT970SAHW0 Whirlpool Dishwasher. Attractive price, they said it was compatible but after four separate attempts to reattach it I still couldn't close the door. On closer inspection, you can see that its cross-section differs slightly from the original part (first photo, current). Part W11177741, photo enlarged to show detail; second photo, this product). It's also stiffer, which prevents it from folding in the right direction to allow the door to close. That's disappointing as it was a good price and supposedly compatible. I gave it two stars as it's cheap and looks well made so hey it might work for you but not for this particular model. (As an aside, found that the screws on half of the inner panel of the dishwasher door were loose. I tightened the screws and tried installing a new gasket again, but still no die. I cleaned the original gasket with citric acid, reinstalled it, and my problem seems to be solved. So if you were worried about what I would do now that the new part didn't work, that's fine. ;-)
