Based on our own experience, this replacement part was a complete waste of money. It did not fit properly and made our dishwasher worse off than before.

It didn't help me. In the life of my Maytag dishwasher I have had to replace the door seal several times. I was very happy to find this inexpensive option (OEM printing is $45-$60 depending on the seller). This gasket is made of high quality material, maybe better than OEM material. However, it is too thick. I installed it perfectly, the gasket sits properly in the channel but is thick enough to prevent the door from closing properly. This was to replace a Whirlpool Gasket part number W11177741 to replace the gasket on my WDT970SAHW0 Whirlpool Dishwasher. Attractive price, they said it was compatible but after four separate attempts to reattach it I still couldn't close the door.
