Great modem for speeds under 1GB which is more than adequate for the average household. I have blaster internet and am downloading over 200MB - a lot. To reinstall Xfinity Easy Setup, plug in the new modem and wait for the Power LED - US/DS - Online to turn blue. Using a browser, most likely on your mobile phone, go to xfinity/activate and follow the instructions. Replacing an existing modem with higher speeds is more than easy, but not bad. Disconnect the old modem and connect everything to the new modem. Wait for the 3 blue lights to come on, then call xfinity to find someone who can troubleshoot your connection issues. You will spend some time with them setting up the internet and working with the new modem. Then you will be switched to someone else to transfer your phone to the new modem. Allow about an hour of phone calls, but it's worth it. My old modem maxed out at 133MB and now I've got up to 912MB so this modem should last a few years. Oh, now I've got about 220MB, not that I'd have a problem with 133MB, but I might get what I pay for.
