It literally fell apart (although technically it still works)

I was going to connect the ethernet cable and he immediately plugged in the other end where the USB cable is connected. Not sure if I have a bad one, but when I tried to fix it, the other end of the plastic case was pushed out as well. I didn't notice any cracks, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. I ended up ordering from Apple for a few extra bucks, it doesn't have USB ports but I really only bought it for the ethernet.
