I wish I had listened to other reviews on this complete piece of plastic junk. I even bought 2 because I thought everything would be fine. One fell apart as soon as I took it out of the box and the other fell apart after I put it in my computer. Cheap, cheap, CHEAP! I wish I could give 0 stars, but I can't. I was going to connect the ethernet cable and he immediately plugged in the other end where the USB cable is connected. Not sure if I have a bad one, but when I tried to fix it, the other end of the plastic case was pushed out as well. I didn't notice any cracks, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. I ended up ordering from Apple for a few extra bucks, it doesn't have USB ports but I really only bought it for the ethernet.

I bought it for work. I cut my hand the first time I used it. Also, the cover came off exposing the wires. In terms of functionality, the Ethernet port was not working. Needless to say I wanted to return the item. However, the seller offered to send me a new unit before I screwed up the return. I'm committed and couldn't be happier. I've always wanted to find a USB port that also connects to Ethernet. I finally found this and so far it works great. It comes in a nice little box. The connection is stable when connected to both Ethernet and USB. Light weight and easy to carry. Good product!

This item didn't work. I had serious doubts about the quality so I sent it back. Bad construction. The USB-C cable felt flimsy and not very durable, and would likely break after a few plugs and unplugs.

It arrived with the inside protruding a bit but I was able to put it back with some effort. It works. I enjoyed using it. It does get warm, but I'm sure that's normal for this type of accessory. If you're just looking for a cheap adapter I'd say this will do the job for you.
