Club 40 broke on the first hole but I should take responsibility for helping and not blame the club alone. It is used in a 90 degree drill bit and when he was drilling through 1/8" aluminum instead of maintaining speed and pulling it out I let the drill bit slow down and didn't put enough pressure on the 90 degree bit out so that it twisted and broke. I've drilled many holes with a regular #40 drill bit and it bends without breaking, so yeah I feel like the drill bit isn't very strong. It wasn't as sharp as my other bits, and it took me about 10 minutes to drill through 1/8" aluminum. By being more careful with #30 and #20 I was able to keep them from twisting and they haven't broken yet.
