You get what you pay for.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this scale. There are many cheap scales out there and most of them are fine. These scales are in the same category. Pros - Looks great - Easy to read numbering (some other cheap scales are surprisingly hard to read) - Accuracy compared to other scales I own - Sensitivity and speed of measurement - Quiet (some people like beeps, I hate it) Cons – Biggest disadvantage : The tare button is difficult to press and is not always registered. Thankfully it's not a start/stop timer, but still. - I wish the timer had readings in milliseconds, it's hard to tell when it starts, so I'm only 1 second behind. Not that it matters, but it's still a bit annoying - Lightweight and a bit cheaply made. Overall - OK. It's a cheap entry point, but I only use it for coffee anyway. I would use my AWS for more accurate small measurements or my ozeri for baking/cooking. But if you need a scale for your starter coffee, you get what you pay for. At least it looks smooth on my countertop and that makes a big difference.
