I bought a used 2000 Chevy Express Convertible Van 5.7L 350 with 103,000 miles to convert to an RV. I've decided to do most of the maintenance on it because who knows if it's been done in its 18 years on the road and with just a few miles I'm guessing it's sat for a while. I installed this K&N fuel filter in minutes, very quick and easy, I didn't notice anything because of the old filter but as soon as I ran it I immediately noticed a huge difference in sound and I pulled it out. On the road and in pro forma it was more like the old one was a little trashed, apparently due to the difference in how it moves on the road and when it's just sitting and working. I don't normally expect much from a fuel filter change other than reassurance that it's done. I cannot comment on the experiences of others other than my own.
