Review on πŸ“· Sony Carl ZEISS Sonnar T E 24mm F1.8 ZA E-Mount Prime Lens: Superior Image Quality and Versatile Performance by Somsak Boonsri ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

Lightweight, versatile. There is no alternative. Ideal for filming a child indoors. 35 1.8 - very good for the price and sharpness, but there will be only portraits or you will have to crawl around the corners and squeeze into the walls =) When you pay a thousand dollars for cropped glass with a Zeiss tag, you want to get the perfect thing, but there are no ideal things =) This is an acceptable compromise.

Pros
  • Lightweight, fairly clear (not razor sharp =)
Cons
  • Chromate, sharpness worse than 35 1.8. Not all weather. There is no stabilization, you need a carcass with it. Apparently the price.

Has some pros Build quality, materials, form factor are great! The picture is sharp, there are practically no operations, the minimum barrel. Cons: The price is clearly a couple of times higher than "reality". In comparison with the sigma 30mm f1.4, the price twice as high is clearly not justified.
