The spring pushed the balls out slightly. Great drill and it will last a lot.
Excellent tailor. I had some 3/16" thick chrome plated brass plates that I needed to drill holes in. I used a bench drill, some cutting fluid and got clean cuts with no burrs, the spring knocked out the plugs easily. Great drill bit and will hold up for many more production cuts.
