Review on SoHome Blue Indoor Doormat And Kitchen Mat - Thin, Low Profile, Stain-Resistant, Non-Slip, Machine Washable - Measures 24" X 35 by Brian Wesley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bought a second one but had to return.

EDIT: I liked the first one so much I ordered a second in a different color. It also came folded so I did what I did with the first one - unfolded, then rolled, then set in a corner for a bit to allow time for the wrinkles to smooth. But then, when I unrolled it, there was a "split" (or tear) on the underside about 4 - 5 inches long. Maybe that's why they don't ship them rolled like most rugs/mats? So I had to return it, and would love a replacement (without the tear) because I really like the mat, so I might take a chance and order another one. I LOVE the blue one that I ordered first, but really like this gold/brown color too. Although I STILL haven't washed it (in the washer) yet to see if it holds up - will probably do that before ordering again.ORIGINAL REVIEW:It's as nice as I'd hoped, but can't speak to washability or durability yet, but it's exactly the slim profile and material I was expecting. It did come folded as others have said, but it didn't take much (I rolled it up and left it that way for a few days, then laid it down flat) to get it to lie flat. I didn't have the "permanent buckles" others complained about. Let's hope it washes and holds up! If I'm thrilled with it I might remember to check back in a year or two.

Pros
  • ‎Stain Resistant
Cons
  • Could be too small to efficiently clean larger shoes
