Snap On Silicone Filter Clip

I've tried the plastic filter clip in the past with mixed results so I was excited to try this filter. I attached it to a stainless steel bowl that I usually use to wash fruits and veggies. My stainless steel bowl has a short rim at the top, but after several tries I was able to securely attach the clip to the rim of the bowl. The strainer covers about 1/4-1/3 of the top of the bowl. The bottom has a solid C-shaped silicone insert that essentially covers the space between the bowl and the strainer. The predominantly perforated part of the sieve is particularly suitable for the intestinal contents (fruit, vegetables, pasta, etc.). Overall I have mixed feelings about this screen. I like the idea of having a clip on the strainer that eliminates the need to transfer to a separate strainer. I like that the silicone is thick, flexible and durable. I also like that it has 2 large silicone coated stainless steel clips. However, I found it difficult to pour out all the water without rotating the bowl 180 degrees. But because I knocked the bowl over so violently, I lost a few strawberries and tomatoes. I find the silicone gasket too thick and the holes start too high. Keeping these parts the same, it might help if the strainer part was taller and covered at least half or more of the top of the bowl.
