I have a Dell Latitude E5400 with a 160GB factory hard drive. After two years of study, heavy use for photos and videos, and dozens of apps installed, the original drive was 90% full. Even after regularly archiving large files to external drives, I've never been able to keep up with the times! After I bought this CD I had to put it down for a while to keep up with school. I then discovered that a very good conversion kit I bought with it had software that wouldn't mirror the old drive to the new one due to sector size issues between the two drives. I ended up having to take everything to the school's electronics lab, an "air chassis" of two drives on a desktop platform, and mirror the old drive to the new. Once completed, the new actuator was installed in less than ten minutes and works like a hose. In short, I'm very happy with the new drive and the new life of my workhorse laptop. 300+ MB of free space gives me enough space to work while I complete my studies and I am very happy.
