Fits Rav4 made in Japan

Toyota wanted $200 for this part because my Rav 4 was assembled in Japan. The Canadian-built version was much cheaper ($30). Such a simple detail wouldn't differ from the same model, no matter where it was built, would it? I can confirm that this part is at least for the Japanese Rav 4.
