This product is working properly. I'm running a Linux server through my cable modem. I've tried several consumer-priced wireless routers, but all (3 of them!) had freezing or slowness issues. Now I have a blue box solution from Netgear - a wired FR114P router with a WG102 wireless access point connected to it. I also have a Netgear GS108 Gigabit Switch. They are all connected to my Motorola SB5100 cable modem. No hang ups and my server is working great (I handle email and internet for some relatives). This wireless hotspot seems a bit more expensive than it should be, but I'm glad I finally have a reliable network! Get a wireless print server now.
