I really wanted to love this product but I can't. A really nice circle of Baltic birch, so the end result is good. But: As another reviewer noted, since the drill bit is a quick-change design and isn't rigidly mounted in the spindle, it wobbles. He straightens up and makes a round hole, but it won't be exact. Instructions for purchasing the product consist of four photos on the back of the box and the instruction "Read the instructions for the tool". There is no manual for the tool - I looked on the Bosch website under the "Manuals" section and couldn't find anything. For this to work for 1-1/2", 2-1/8" and 2-1/2" saws provided: 1. First make sure the silver knurled piece on the back of the bit is as far as back is as far as possible, meaning it is just in front of the hex chuck attachment area. Then, holding the hex end with one hand and the hole saw with the other, press the drill bit against the spring loaded silver retainer with the two black indexes Pin and twist the hex end to screw the saw in now ready to use To get it working with the included 1" hole saw or narrower 1-1/4" saws: 1. Follow step 1 above Processing.3. Back off 1/2 turn 4. Now screw the hole saw onto the black adapter The system is now ready for use To remove the hole saw from the drill/arbor assembly: To replace narrow diameter blades with an adapter, unscrew she just vo m adapter off. To remove a blade or adapter and/or replace a wider blade: 1. Insert a flathead screwdriver between the receiver and the knurl and twist. The knurled part will detach from the receiver.3. While holding the body of the saw, turn the hex to loosen and remove it from the socket. Hopefully the knurled part will loosen up a bit over time and hold on if needed, but removing it no longer requires a screwdriver. smart tool design that I enjoy with my (very, very) old Bosch B1450 plunge router and almost new Bosch JS365 jigsaw.
