Awkward and difficult to use

I really wanted to love this product but I can't. A really nice circle of Baltic birch, so the end result is good. But: As another reviewer noted, since the drill bit is a quick-change design and isn't rigidly mounted in the spindle, it wobbles. He straightens up and makes a round hole, but it won't be exact. Instructions for purchasing the product consist of four photos on the back of the box and the instruction "Read the instructions for the tool". There is no manual for the tool - I looked…

Innovative and well thought-out mounting system

I have many sets of hole saws. They all have slightly different ways of attaching the saw blade to the mandrel. Usually in cheap kits it just bolts on or uses a screw. In any case, after repeated use, it is almost impossible to remove it without an impact wrench. So it's not very useful for quick changes. and removing the stub becomes a chore. That changes with the Bosch SpinLOCK mandrel. You simply align two pins, twist and lock. A powerful spring presses on the chuck, which holds it securely…

Saws cut well but mandrel is terrible and quality control isn't the best

Me now save you the trouble of reading this review and advise you to just buy milwaukee hole dozer saws instead. These Bosch saws cut just as well as the Milwaukees but are much more difficult to use, largely due to the mandrel design. DRIVER DESIGN: This is what Bosch should do differently and better than other crowns.
