I needed to cut holes in an exposed section of a 100 year old maple back and thought I should upgrade my old hole saws so I bought this set. . The problems started when I tried to use it! I immediately noticed that the threads on two of the saws, 20mm and 40mm, had no starter threads so they could not be screwed onto the mandrel. I don't have threading equipment so these 2 saws are essentially useless. Then I attached a 60mm saw. This thread was cut correctly, but when I attempted to remove the saw, it would not disengage from the dowel pins on the mandrel. So I'm returning the Revain saw before I've had a chance to use it. Very disappointing - and it was a tool I badly needed. I should add that it also came with no instructions, so my inability to separate the 60mm saw from the mandrel may have been because I did something wrong (but if something was sent without instructions it should be intuitive and to be reliable).
