Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

What kind of a crook do you have to be to write drivers that are this incompetent? A brief historical perspective: For a number of years, I functioned as an access point using a laptop (a Dell Inspiron 1300) that featured an integrated Intel g-standard card. Therefore, using it, the television displays even full HD video from YouTube without any problems. And as they say: not a single gap. After putting together a personal computer for myself, I thought it would be a good idea to connect it to the internet. I made the decision to purchase this "miracle" since the wires are not yet completely out of control. Before making a purchase, I read some concerning reviews about how the work was unstable, but I remained hopeful that it would be easy to do with my hands. Also, the price was corrupted. I went with the 722nd model, which is virtually identical to the 721st save for the addition of a stand on a wire. If it was at all possible, I wanted to have some leeway in selecting the location. Despite the fact that the 721st and a USB extension cable were available for purchase. Immediately after making the purchase, I started dancing. In the beginning, there were no issues when it came to installing the drivers. However, it turned out that the access point was terrible: the network would disappear every 20–30 minutes, and then it would come back online 5–10 minutes later. The process of enumerating the various driver versions got underway: from the disk, from the site of tp-link, from the site of Atheros, and even an attempt was made to search on the site of Qualcomm. It is important to remember the version of Windows, which is Server 2022. It's possible that this is the root of my issues, whereas others won't face the same challenges. Different versions of drivers have different behaviors: some lose connection after 1-5 minutes, others - 15-20, and there are those through which surfing the internet on a smartphone and laptop is normal, but the TV loses connection after the same 20-30 minutes. Finally, there are some of - for which it is impossible to create an access point. Two months of torture and busting came to an end on the antiquated 2022 edition of the driver on the tp-link website. This version was the very first one in which support for Windows 7 emerged. I've been working on this version for the better part of a day, and everything appears to be functioning correctly: Two restarts of the computer brought the network back up, and despite watching four hours of movies on the television, there have been no breaks so far. In the event that there are issues, unneeded items will be placed to the box, and you will be need to restart the distribution process using the laptop.

Pros
  • Works. Look for the command netsh wlan if you want to learn how to set up an access point.
Cons
  • After performing several moves with a tambourine, it works. Five stars just due to the fact that it is effective. It would appear to be so. After a great deal of time and nerves that were spent. I will downgrade the rating if there is even the slightest indication that the work is unstable in any way. If I had realized that dealing with him would cause me so much trouble, I never would have accepted the position.
