My back yard is full of big bamboo, and when I say big, I mean some stalks that are 60-feet tall and up to 5" in diameter. This is heavy-duty bamboo that I have to cut off at ground level, and usually a bit below ground level. It seems that the remaining stumps last for eternity, so it's best to get them sliced off level. With an 18-volt Makita reciprocating saw, these blades slice through the dirt and pebbles and bamboo. Right through the heavily rooted and almost indestructible green foundation. After 50 years of fighting this stuff, I think these pruning blades are the best. I had to give only four stars for longevity, and that's only because they're not really made to cut through and sand.
