I spent some time weighing this sensor or a more expensive fruit sensor but as I needed the smallest sensor for my project I decided to go to give this one. It arrived on time, the connectors soldered easily, and using the sample code from Pololu's Arduino library, I was glad it all worked the first time. You can ignore 2 wires for many applications - XSHUT and GPIO are not needed for basic examples. Another nice thing for me is that the mounting holes are big enough for standard nylon filament, unlike many other sensors I have, so that's a nice bonus. I see myself buying more of these for all sorts of range finder projects.
