Review on 🔧 Performance Tool 0-200 Accessory - Model W10055 by Scott Welch

I was a little concerned with other reviewers who said the open/close handle immediately came loose and stopped working. When mine arrived I tested it and it worked fine. I noticed that this manifold isn't as thick walled as the one I replaced, but I think it's probably just a more efficient design. I saved the hose and gauge from the old manifold. After installing the new manifold on my portable air tank, I filled it up and checked for leaks. Then I connected the hose and when I started pumping the hose to check for leaks the knob just turned on the shaft. I suspect that the air pressure in the tank offers enough resistance to make the grip slip on its shaft. I removed the knob and used pliers to operate the valve and found that it rotated a good 1/4 turn before letting air through. TIP FOR OTHER CUSTOMERS: Don't fully close the valve when the tank is pressurized and this might work for you. I finally salvaged the handle from my old distributor, and despite a slightly smaller stem bore, I was able to press it gently against the new distributor's valve stem.
