I grew up with cast iron cookware and used cast iron cookware as an adult. I've used a variety of different sized pans, skillets, and specialty utensils. This double dutch oven is a size I haven't had before. My cast iron kitchen is now complete. Pros: The lid doubles as a frying pan. The fit, finish and finish are of good build quality. preseasoned but when it arrived the finish was a very light unseasoned cast iron finish compared to the photos on the dark oven order page. No problem, and the oven was seasoned well when I covered it in oil and baked it at 400 degrees for an hour, then left it in the oven until it felt completely cooled.
