The hose to the liter bottle is too short to reach the bottom of the jug, it only comes halfway out! Luckily the exhaust pipe is long enough to cut off part of it and stick it into the bottom of the intake pipe. Luckily, it slides right in. I don't quite understand why it's constructed that way, but with a little shadow engineering it can work and siphon the entire contents of the bottle. Remove the top clamp, cut off enough tubing to dig into the bottom of the inlet where it reaches the bottom of the quart jug, slide the tubing back to the outlet side, replace the clip and you're done. A good enough little pump for an annual bottom block oil change, but come on!
