Review on BlindsAvenue Cellular Honeycomb Cordless Shade, 9/16" Single Cell, Light Filtering, Warm Cocoa, Size: 18" W X 48" H by Clarence Calcara

I read many reviews before buying these and I was glad I did. We bought three for inside mounting on new windows in our sun room. We were hoping to cut some of the afternoon glare without having big ol clunky blinds in full view. I would say we got about 50% of the glare reduction we were hoping for. The blinds are sheer so a lot of light bleeds through but on the positive side they are attractive when deployed.I don't think the installation is for the totally inexperienced. I am on old amateur handy man and I had to enlist a friend to consult with as we did the installation. As the manufacturer notes the supplied screws will not work for inside mounts so factor in a trip to the hardware store to get flat head screws. As noted I was installing three blinds. The first one was really a bear. I took about five efforts to get it to finally lock. Each failure of course required studying the bracket, re-reading the instructions etc. I was about one failure from quitting when it snapped in. The next two snapped in on first try.So on the positive:Nice lookinggood priceeasy to deploy and retractOn the less than positive:installation requires exactitude, careful reading of instructions and some experience with DIY.In summary we really like them, their look and their ease of operation.
