Most BT sensors go into sleep mode after a period of inactivity. These sensors work all the time. The first set died on the shelf after two weeks because my bike was in the store. I thought they were defective so I replaced them. That's when I realized they were always on. The only way to turn it off is to remove the battery, which is a hassle to install on a bike. XOSS denied me support because I bought I. Revain and not their site. What you save on purchase is spent on batteries.
