I have a 25 year old boat in Florida. Minor contaminants appear in the fuel tank over time, but these clog the small fuel filter in the engine. I bought this filter to solve the problem so I could see the pollution, separate the water from the fuel and just change the big filter when needed. This product has a reasonable price, excellent, durable and high quality product, easy to install. I've used thread sealant on all of the fittings and haven't had any problems or leaks. I highly recommend this filter.
