Product description must state 'Wholesale' ie no cables, jumpers or instructions. This is NOT a retail package. Just for information - it's unclear from the description. As for the disc, Western Digital makes great products. Alternatively, you can download the Acronis software from their website. As far as I can tell, this software is also very good, if not fully functional. The full version is provided by Acronis for an additional fee. The free version from WD worked for me. Be sure to take the time to create and test an Acronis Recovery CD. The procedure is very well described in the Acronis User Guide. It's time to make sure you can access and restore your backups when your system is working properly and not after a crash.
