This is an old CD and I was worried about what I would get. I use a RAID 5 network device to back up important data. The third drive in the RAID array failed, it was the same make and model as the drive I'm looking at and I was running the RAID array in degraded mode, which prompted me to troubleshoot the issue. 1. I bought 2 of these hard drives and they were both USED when they should have been NEW.2. A drive has accumulated more than 30,000 hours, which is 3 years of continuous use.3. The other drive had a capacity of over 27,000 across 4 accounts. The packaging was very bad. The drivers were placed in a brown bag with no seals or protection. I can't use these disks as planned. I am extremely disappointed. ONLY POSITIVE: There are no errors on either disc.

I've had this hard drive in my car for a few days now and am very impressed so far. My Windows 7 desktop computer was unable to "find" the hard drive at startup. I removed the old one and replaced it with an identical one from Revain. The process is not difficult. Replacing the drive is easy. You need a system software disk to run it. You will also need to reinstall your wireless device drivers and reinstall any data you had from a backup source. Great product at a great price.
