This could work great on a frameless tank but I have a glass framed Aqueon brand 75 gallon tank that I tried to drill out for this spill box and if I don't somehow change the lip on the inside , the waterline will fall below the visible edge of the tank. Not cool! It was hard enough convincing me to drill a hole or holes (actually two holes, one for the overflow and one for the bulkhead return) in my tank, but I may have to change the frame if I decide to proceed. Again not cool. I called Eshopps and spoke to someone on tech support, but they didn't seem to have a solution for me other than the one I came up with. Using a dremel, cut off some plastic to accommodate the inside which should be flush with the glass. My best advice, buy a pre-drilled tank and save yourself the trouble. I think that's what I will end up doing if the task of doing this work doesn't bring out the best in me! :-) Eshopps: Please change this box so that the internal overflow can accommodate the plastic edge of the frame on traditional tanks. Raising the weir slots slightly or somehow cutting out the box to accommodate the frame may be the solution for your engineering/design team.
