I'm getting into electronics repair and this kit provides a good basic to get started. The breadboard and mounting plate are the most useful as I have both a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino Uno that I want to play with. I haven't had a chance to try all the components, but overall the collection seems complete. I'd say the most notable issue is that the T-Cobbler (the board that breaks out the RPi's GPIO/power/etc pins and can be mounted on a breadboard) is a little cumbersome when attached to the side of the Pi is assembled it happens on this board. You end up with a clumsy twist of the ribbon cable. The older "vertical" type of cobbler is better suited to this arrangement, but I'm sure it's harder to find. If this is a big problem, you can always take a round 40-pin IDE cable (don't use the 80-pin, they have extra ground wires that can break the connection) and use that.
