Review on 🔧 ACDelco MU1791 Fuel Pump and Level Sensor Module with Seals, Float, and Harness - GM Original Equipment by Marc Hawkins

I installed this fuel pump on a 2002 Olds Aurora. The biggest problem was getting the old one out. I put penetrating oil on the locking ring (a few days before) before attempting to move it. Using a brass rod (no spark) and a hammer, hit one side and then the other (counter-clockwise). Soon he will move. Lubricate the snap ring when reinstalling and it will be a lot easier. I had to change a connector (which comes with the kit) to match the connector on the pump. They give you barrel connectors to beef up the wires ----- Instead I soldered the wires with an ELECTRIC soldering iron. All directions are great! KEEP THE OLD CONNECTOR IN CASE YOU BREAK ANYWHERE AND THE PUMP AVAILABLE HAS THE OLD CONNECTOR! PUT IT UNDER THE SPARE WHEEL! YOU WILL NEVER KNOW!
