Budget friendly lime green light that turns off intermittently

If you don't like LEDs flashing brightly at night, don't use this. I installed one in my bedroom. Usually smoke alarms have a flashing light to let you know they are working. But they're insanely bright at night. Also, those fire alarms are so weak. Not sure if they will work at all. I have one in my kitchen and have cooked meat that has become very smoky. I was sure the alarm clock would ring. It never happened. I will send these back.
