This product works.
The tire dealer who tried to replace this tire damaged the lug. They are right when they say that this type of bulge is swelling. However, they could not complete the work. I called two other shops and they both said I might have to "cut the rim off the car"! Ten minutes after I started working with this tool, I had a bad tip in my hand. Two thumbs up. I was very patient, tapping the connector and making sure it stayed tight between attempts to twist the tip. It cuts a nice deep groove in the nut and gives it very little opportunity to let go.
