Durable Appearance

These items have withstood the slightly offensive knocks I have subjected them to. Although they were unable to remove the overtightened wheel lock nut, most likely due to the smooth finish of the wheel locks, I believe that had it been a rounded nut compared to the stock nut I would have been successful. Good to have and quality stitching.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • socket required.

So easy! Bye Bye Lug Key Locks

I look at this thing and think it doesn't work. I hit it with a hammer, it only went 1/8 inch or so and that was all I could hammer. I flipped the switch and that key lock went down in history. All locks removed in 10 minutes. I was wondering why anyone would even use key locks. I'm sure the thief knows they make these removal tools and it really was that simple. You are fooling yourself if you think your wheels are locked and difficult to get out.

Worked like a charm

Spent an hour and a half watching a tire shop cut my mum up trying to get them off after a previous shop had overtightened them. Broke one outlet and ruined another trying to hammer it but to no avail. The union nut turned out to be so perfectly smooth that it looked like a sleeve. And NO, it wasn't a locknut. I used a 19mm breaker with a 20" breaker and it came loose with minimal effort. It was so easy I had to laugh and shake my head. I don't understand why EVERY tire shop doesn't have this…

This product works.

The tire dealer who tried to replace this tire damaged the lug. They are right when they say that this type of bulge is swelling. However, they could not complete the work. I called two other shops and they both said I might have to "cut the rim off the car"! Ten minutes after I started working with this tool, I had a bad tip in my hand. Two thumbs up. I was very patient, tapping the connector and making sure it stayed tight between attempts to twist the tip. It cuts a nice deep groove in the…

Worked when all else failed

My local Jeep dealer used an 800lb impact wrench to tighten the nut when he was installing my spare tire. I completely ruined it trying to remove it, screwed the chrome cap onto the soft inner nut and rounded off making it difficult to remove the cap with a chisel etc. I "tapped" 17mm on what was left of the nut. internal jam nut and uses a tube breaker for added leverage. The extractor head dug deep into the nut and broke off. Less than 5 minutes. compared to spending hours drilling and…

Does what it should!

This product did a great job removing the nuts from my bike. I also recommend a PB blaster and a 2 foot jackhammer, but these screws won't come off without that. The only problem (and luckily this happened with the last two bolts) is that when I tried to break the nut with the punch provided, the punch got stuck in the nut. And after I removed the last stripped nut and tried to knock it out of the socket with the other end of the punch, the punch got stuck in THAT nut. So now I'll stick with…

It works as it should.

I bought this on a Saturday night because I needed to remove the wheel locks from one of my cars. Received it the next evening which probably took as long as it took me to locate them locally. 3 locks (not sure where the 4th went but it wasn't there) literally took me about 3 minutes total. I used a punch to pry the tip off, then put the lip (not the pan) in a heavy vise and swung the other side for a few seconds to pry the pan off the lip. It made a potentially painful situation extremely…

Awesome Retract Nut Set

I don't usually write reviews unless the item is either terrible or great, like in this case. I don't like taking my cars to the local tire shop just because they keep over-tightening the nuts, making them extremely difficult to remove, as was the case in my case. I was going to change the tires on my Jeep and, to make a long story short, I broke one of the nuts. I went to Revain and saw that the ABN twist socket set had great reviews. Received the set in about two days. I took out the 3/4 1/2"

This crap works best in sockets and socket sets

I had a Dodge with the known problem with the lug nut retainer and with the rupture bar attached to it and insane force the outer chrome body cracked. and the nut rounded. After various attempts to knock out and free a regular socket, I got a rounded edge that has NO edges at all. I had just replaced the wheel hub assembly a month earlier and even lubricated the threads with anti-seize to be safe and I really didn't want to deal with the nightmare of getting to everything even if I had to drill
