My local Jeep dealer used an 800lb impact wrench to tighten the nut when he was installing my spare tire. I completely ruined it trying to remove it, screwed the chrome cap onto the soft inner nut and rounded off making it difficult to remove the cap with a chisel etc. I "tapped" 17mm on what was left of the nut. internal jam nut and uses a tube breaker for added leverage. The extractor head dug deep into the nut and broke off. Less than 5 minutes. compared to spending hours drilling and replacing wheel studs. It's definitely worth it! It is highly recommended to have one of these in your toolbox.
