I think if I could do it again I wouldn't order them. They seem kind of thin. I will be using them for riding mini ramps so I don't need heavy duty pads but to be honest I'm not sure they will do anything. They just don't have anything special. They're not big and chunky, which can be a good thing, but the straps aren't very comfortable in shorts. They dig into the back of the leg. I think they'll do for a while, but I'll probably improve them at some point. They were cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. In retrospect I should have paid a few euros more and gotten something better.
