I wanted a hybrid bike that I could hop on for family trips without strapping into my road or mountain bike. Even though I had another road bike, it still wasn't very comfortable to ride. So I would either spend like $500 on a decent hybrid or find a way to modify the racquet. Well, for $16 and another $10 for a longer front brake cable, it worked. It looks ridiculous, but it's actually a very pleasant ride. The stem doesn't flex when out of the saddle and it doesn't flex at all like I would expect. I am very happy with the stem and glad I did it rather than buying another bike.
