I am using this product on a pergola cover. I was hoping to maintain tension upstairs to help with rainwater accumulation. Three out of 10 knurled clamps break when you try to tighten them. And I feel like they all break if I overtighten them. Looking forward to this rainy weekend to see if they hold up. Or they simply have to be sent back. And for the record, I'm a 59-year-old, 125-pound woman with arthritis in my hands. I didn't use pliers as it's clear they can't handle the torque of a hand tool when I get them. The pergola finish is thin. But it has a reinforced look, I hope they hold up.
