It has a strong light, but it's shorter than I'd like.

I bought this because it came with a lot of batteries. It has brightness but my husband didn't use it for walks because it's really too short for his hand. I thought I'd replace the one with dead batteries with another that was the same but had more batteries, but it was at least a few inches shorter than what it was used to and way too short. So he uses his old one's battery but needs to charge it every day after coming back from a 1/2 to 3/4 hour hike and it takes at least 3 hours to charge. We're still using the same battery we got it from.
