Review on Prima Marketing 584252 Watercolor Confections by Jared Perry

I haven't used this application for a while but this week I picked it up again. I immediately noticed some problems with the textures. It's incredibly grainy, but not grainy. It looks like pigment spots that have not been fully mixed with the binder. I also noticed cracks that seemed to fill with slime as they dried. As if the binder had separated from the pigment. The gray also changed color when the binder separated. I tried to look for other reviews that mentioned this but couldn't find any. I suspect I have a defect. Since I probably have a defect, I wanted to go into the palette itself outside of these problems. The colors are beautiful and bright. Although pink is not lightfast. They seem a little above the usual crappy craft paints but below student level. If I had to do it all over again I would go with the Windsor & Newton Cotman palette for the same price.
