Prima Marketing 584252 Watercolor Confections Review

I have several Prima palettes and this one was different when it arrived. The packaging for one was odd, it was a matte box, and they're usually glossy. Second, was the paper glossy on the inside? It should be watercolor paper so you can check the colors. This is the only copy with glossy pattern paper, which is useless on glossy paper. Then paint yourself. This is my second watercolor candy set! I fell in love with the cake set so I had to go with the classics. I will say that the colors did not disappoint me. I particularly like the pink and purple tones in this set. I also like the tin they come in. As you raise the bowl of colors you will find more mixing rooms! I just love it! I haven't used this application for a while but this week I picked it up again. I immediately noticed some problems with the textures. It's incredibly grainy, but not grainy. It looks like pigment spots that have not been fully mixed with the binder. I also noticed cracks that seemed to fill with slime as they dried. As if the binder had separated from the pigment. The gray also changed color when the binder separated. I tried to look for other reviews that mentioned this but couldn't find any.

I'm giving this product four stars because while I really love it and think it certainly deserves five stars, I also think there are some caveats that might be of interest to some people . First of all, if your pans slide in a metal mount, don't glue them, put magnets or anything like that. A simple solution is to remove all paint cans and then gently pinch the two sides of the metal guides between your fingers so they touch a little. I bought these for the palette. I just wanted to have some sort of spare set on hand. For the price, the can is a decent little package. I found I had to bend the pins that hold the halves in place slightly to more securely hold them in a stable position, but that really doesn't make much of a difference and certainly isn't against the rules.
