I had almost 40 garden statues and they all looked badly weathered. Quarantine seemed like the perfect time to finally do something about it, so I ordered this paint set and some brushes and got to work. I had never painted anything other than walls in my life so I had no idea what I was looking for in paint and had no idea how to actually paint them. I did no prep work on the statues (although I did have to sand some of them as they showed flaking in their paint) other than wiping them down with soap and water. ' was easy to dose a little at a time. I had some friends come over to help paint. Everyone seemed impressed with the quality of the paint for the price I paid (some were "artistic" guys who had painted things before, making little statues makes a living so let's call her an expert.) The paint lay well, dried well. I spritzed on some clear matte outdoor spray paint before putting them back outside so hopefully they hold up something I think I've used 1/3 of each color - obviously green and white are my favorites (ALL are frog statues) but even those are less than half used. At least one more round to paint the statue - or maybe I'll start wandering around the area to see if there are any other statues that need a refresh :D
