I used this kit on my 2003 Silverado Extended Cab 4WD. It was fairly easy to fit, but it was a real pain to get to the bracket that bolts to the gearbox and hoses on the tank. For those planning on doing it myself I had to use a 1/4" deep 13mm head with a universal and extension rods (I tried a 3/8 drive but found I wasn't getting enough had room, a socket with a universal was too long and the fuel lines prevented me from accessing it) to remove the nut from the transmission bolt and a long pry bar to put the new bracket on the bolt. It's not inte interesting to see how a doctor comes up to you and scrapes out a piece of metal with a sharp instrument. I was there
